- Designed and implemented a C# .NET library framework that is the logical building block for all web applications within the organization. Documented framework coding standards so all developers can easily learn, adhere and use it as the base of their applications
- Incorporated an LDAP/ADSI retrieval service to feed the intranet SQL back-end with authenticated user information from Active Directory so that all relevant employee data such as group membership, machine security settings and application access could be retrieved and updated from a single location
- Developed bank’s Server & Application Monitoring System that interfaces with Microsoft SCOM in order to effectively view, monitor and log the current state and health of all on-site and off-site servers, as well as application availability
- Developed bank’s Help Desk Issue Management System using C#, Workflows, Ajax and Scheduled Scripted Tasks to increase efficiency of the IT Department’s Help Desk. This system has been vital in reducing the amount of Help Desk calls and the time it takes to attend user requests by properly assigning new tickets to the appropriate personnel, tracking open tickets, providing an organized process for notifying users through an issue-service-queue and documenting solutions so issues are easily corrected should they come up again
- Developed bank's Web Application Disaster Recovery Infrastructure and related protocols to protect all application assets and real-time data, and ensure recovery and continuity of these critical systems
- Re-wrote IT Department's SDLC in order to incorporate a special focus on agile methodologies including Extreme Programming (XP) and SCRUM; in addition, changed the overall development team atmosphere to one that encouraged object-oriented analysis and design, rapid iterative software development, self-organization and team collaboration
- Currently in the process of designing an Employee On-Boarding System that will automate the task of adding incoming employees to the BBVA network, managing their security levels and granting them application access. The system is being constructed using a combination of C#, Windows Workflow Foundation and runs off of SharePoint 2007
